About the “Portrait Profits” Weekly Show
My name is Jim Landers, I have a four-year degree in photography, 30 years’ experience as a full-time photographer and another 7 as a part-timer, I have a photograph in the Smithsonian, I have written 200+ classes, and taught over 4000 photographers in person, and a whole lot more online. I only share this so you know you are in solid hands.
One truth we all know about business, is that it isn’t easy, but it is also true that we are often the cause of it being harder than it has to be.
Digital Pro Lab and Landers Photography School have teamed up to bring you a weekly lesson on the business side of photography, in a weekly show called “Portrait Profits.”
Q: “What’s the difference between a successful photographer and one who struggles?”
My response: “The sheer determination to persevere through the tough parts” I call this the “Power of Determination.” I introduced this concept to my oldest son two decades ago when he asked about superhero powers. I told him that we all have power. Of course, the conversation didn’t end there, because he asked, “what’s my power?”, I responded, you have a really good one, you have the “Power of Determination”
Each week on Mondays, the Portrait Profits show consists of evolving content bringing awareness and even fun to the business-side of photography. We provide information, step-by-step processes, how to articles, and action steps that will help you with the struggles you deal with now so that you are consistently re-aligned to the path that leads to the success you want.
